DOWN to the council for not providing enough shade during Australia Day celebrations. Hope we will have it next year at the botanic gardens, where it used to be, with plenty of shade under the trees. (Contributed)
DOWN to the home owners who will not control the small ants that are invading our homes. After spending dollars on ant kill and ant sand, the people will not even try to control them. (Contributed)
DOWN to the club who have recently spent millions on renovations and when sitting in the club the smoke comes through the electronic doors into the club area. It is not smoke free and should be attended to. (Contributed)
DOWN to all the scavengers who drove around on Sunday, a day before the Seta (Kurrajong Recyclers) goods collection day to pinch what goods they can. They even drove up in broad day light, so I recorded most of their regos and description of cars, the night time thieves I missed. Get a life guys, go and do some volunteer work. (Contributed)
DOWN to all the drivers, young, old, and P-platers who ignore the 50km/h speed signs in Docker Street, from the base hospital corner lights up to the rail crossing, and most likely further on, you know who you are. (Contributed)
DOWN to the two very rude ladies at the show at the RSL Club, whose continuous talking throughout was most annoying during what should have been a wonderful uninterrupted jazz show by Patrick Almanci and friends. In future, please show consideration to those who have paid to listen, otherwise stay at home. (Contributed)
DOWN to the callous person who dumped three kittens along Red Hill Road on a recent Saturday morning. Luckily, my daughter and I spotted them on our walk and took them home and gave them tender loving care. I have now decided to keep one of them. Fortunately, we don’t all feel like you. You have such little regard for animal life, is it the same for human life? (Contributed)
