DOWN to those few students at a local high school who do lawn bowls and decided it would be a good idea to steal some jacks. There are students who actually enjoy doing this sport and now due to those who inconsiderately stole, the rest of the pupils are being punished. The club has now banned the school from playing there. You are in high school and should know wrong from right. It is time you grew up and took responsibility. You are giving a good school a bad name. The right thing to do would be to return the stolen property so those who are really interested can continue to do the sport they enjoy. (Contributed)

DOWN to the low animal who stole our pure bred male Staffy and my eldest son’s bike from our backyard in Tolland recently. All my children are fretting the loss of their dog as well as my son missing his bike that he only received at Christmas time.

That was his only independent method of visiting his grandmother and cousins who live at Kooringal. (Contributed)

DOWN to our neighbour’s hired gardener. You have been asked twice to clean up your mess. It is rude and arrogant to simply blow all your lawn clippings, leaves and dust into our yard. Your blower is able to pick these things up – so do it. Your response that “it is just dust” doesn’t fly ... your unprofessional actions will soon catch up with you as word of mouth travels fast in a town like Wagga. Shame on you. (Contributed)
